Curved stair lift

AmeriGlide Infinity Curved Stair Lift

The AmeriGlide Infinity is an indoor curved stair lift with a rail made to follow a staircase with turns, bends or landings. Its configuration depends on detailed measurements of the home, so this page is an educational overview rather than a promise that it fits a particular staircase.

Where the Infinity may fit

The Infinity is intended for staircases that cannot use one straight rail. The rail is formed around the actual turns and changes in pitch, including an intermediate landing when continuous travel is appropriate.

A product name alone cannot determine fit. Stair width, head clearance, the shape of each turn, safe space to get on and off, and the rider's needs all have to be reviewed in person.

Power and operation

Manufacturer technical information describes a 24V DC motor and a 120V charger. The exact charging positions and expected operation during an outage depend on the supplied configuration and battery condition, so those details should be confirmed in the written quote and manual.

Coverage to confirm in writing

AmeriGlide's product-specific limited warranty lists 2 years for component parts and the drivetrain, with a separate 30-day term for batteries supplied by AmeriGlide. It applies to the original purchaser and is nontransferable; labor is excluded. Other exclusions, maintenance requirements and the terms for the exact unit should be read in the written manufacturer warranty. Heartland separately provides one year of free labor and service on its installations; service fees apply after the first year. Heartland's coverage is stated in your written quote.

Common questions

Is the Infinity for every curved staircase?
No product can be confirmed from a page or photo alone. The staircase has to be measured and the rider's safe access at both ends reviewed before a configuration is recommended.
Is the powered swivel standard?
No. The supplied brochure lists powered swivel as an option. The manual swivel lever is part of the standard feature set shown in the brochure.
Is this an outdoor lift?
This page covers the indoor Infinity configuration. Do not assume an outdoor configuration or finish is included; ask Rick what is currently available for an exterior staircase.
