Stair Lifts at the Lake of the Ozarks
If your lake home is built into a steep shoreline lot, the hardest stairs may be outdoors: the run down to the dock, or a multi-level deck between the driveway and the front door. We serve both sides of the lake in Camden, Miller and Morgan counties, for interior and exterior lifts, with coverage confirmed by address.
Exterior stairs on a lake lot
A long exterior run to the water is a different problem from a porch step. Length, changes of pitch, timber decking that flexes, and exposure to weather all affect what can be installed and how it should be mounted.
Sometimes an outdoor stair lift is the right answer for one section of the descent rather than the whole run. That is a judgement made on site, standing on the actual steps.
Multi-level decks and split entries
If your home is entered from above and steps down through two or three deck levels, each level change is a separate decision — one may need a lift, another may only need a handrail. We will tell you where we think a lift is not warranted.
Second homes and seasonal use
If your lake home is used seasonally or by different family members through the year, and the lift will sit unused for months, ask us at the assessment about laying it up and bringing it back into service, and about who in the family should be shown how to operate it. It is worth having more than one person trained.
Access for the assessment
Some lake properties are reached by long private drives, gated communities or roads that are awkward for a van. When you request an assessment, add any access notes — gate codes are not needed in the form, but telling us the approach is difficult helps us plan the visit properly.

Common questions
- Can a stair lift be installed on the stairs down to a dock?
- Sometimes, and sometimes only on part of the run. Length, pitch changes and the condition of the decking decide it, so a long exterior run always has to be seen in person.
- Do you travel to Camden, Miller and Morgan Counties?
- Yes, on both sides of the lake, subject to address confirmation. Add any access notes to your assessment request — a long private drive or a gated approach is useful for us to know in advance.
