Accessibility Statement
Many of the people we help, and their families, rely on larger text, a keyboard or a screen reader. We want this website to work for them. We follow the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines as our design target; the site has not had an independent accessibility audit, so we don't claim formal conformance.
What we've built in
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first thing you reach with the keyboard.
- One main heading per page and headings in a logical order.
- Visible focus outlines, and controls designed for keyboard use.
- Form fields with written labels and error messages that are announced.
- Colors chosen for readable contrast, and text that can be enlarged.
- Reduced animation when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Descriptive text for meaningful images; manufacturer photos are labeled as such.
Known limits
The downloadable manufacturer brochures are the manufacturers' original PDF files and may not be fully accessible. If you need the information in them another way, contact us and we'll go through it with you.
